This Policy is projected to all personal information and sensitive personal data or information that is given by or obtained from any person who visits or uses or accesses the website ("User"). We reserve the right to modify or review the details of this Policy without prior notice and the revised Policy will be in effect from the day of uploading. Therefore, Users are requested to periodically visit the website and review the policy.
The contract between us
We must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted. Once payment has been processed & the order is ready for dispatch we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an email to your registered email address. Our acceptance to dispatch your order (staus indicated as -dispatched- in your My account page & in email) brings into existence a legally binding contract between us. Until the order has been moved to the -dispatched - status we withhold the right to hold/modify or cancel your order. We will of course notify you in writing (email) if this does occur and or contact you via telephone to solve the problem. Once you have submitted your order we will begin the processing stage very quickly, at this point in time it is not possible to cancel your order. In these circumstances you would need to return the items to us as unwanted once they had been delivered. However if you do wish to make a change, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
How to place an order
Ordering with us is simple, please browse our website www.stylishlife.co.uk and click on an item to view the products description, price and stock status. Then click the "add to basket" button to the right of the item. After adding the item to your basket you will be automatically taken to the Shopping Basket page where you can view the P & P costs and stock status. From here you are able to checkout or continue shopping. When checking out there are a few details we will need from you in order to provide a professional service. These include name, address, email, phone number etc (these will NEVER be shared with 3rd parties). We will also ask for a password which you can then use at a later date to login & check the status of your order(s). After registering your details you will be taken to a secure payment page where we will require your Credit Card/Debit Card details. Please note We do not store or record any of your payment details, these details are managed on our behalf by our Secure Payment Provider (PROTX). After the payment page you will need to confirm all of your details or edit any errors on the confirmation page by clicking the "edit" links.
After a successful checkout you will see the "green" tick and the words in bold "You have successfully completed the checkout process". If you are in any doubt that your order hasnt been processed please clock on the "my account" link (top right) where you can view your account and any pending orders. If your order was successful it will be in the "Pending" status, after which a "processing" or "dispatched" status will be shown.
Any input errors during the payment process will be clearly marked and will result in a pop up box and a message in bold being displayed, please follow the instructions given to complete the process. The prices payable for goods that you order are as set out on our website and include postage and packaging for all items under 15kg.
Cancellation & Returns
You have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within a period of 7 days (this excludes any handmade or custom made furniture and luxury wallpaper of which you can order a sample), beginning with the day after the day on which the item is delivered. You do not need to give us any reason for cancelling your contract.

If you have received the goods before you cancel your contract then unless you do not have a right to cancel you must send the goods back to our contact address at your own cost and risk. Once you have notified us that you are cancelling your contract, any sum debited to us from your credit card will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order (subject to the goods being returned in the correct period). If you do not return the goods delivered to you within 7 days of your order, we shall be entitled to refund your order in the form of a credit note for stylishlife.co.uk. If you do not pay the costs of delivery, we shall be entitled to charge any direct costs of recovering the goods. Any returned/exchanged products (not including faulty products) that are received by us in a damaged state cannot be refunded. You must contact your delivery/shipping company to discuss making a claim. All items should be packaged securely in their original packaging. We recommend sending the items recorded delivery.
If you cancel, you must return the goods to us at your own expense. We highly advise using signed for delivery. This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights - for example, if goods are faulty.

Cancellation by us
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if:
We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered;
One or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers. If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
Delivery of goods to you
We will deliver the goods ordered by you to the address you give us for delivery at the time you make your order. Delivery will be made as soon as possible after your order is accepted and in any event within 30 days of your order unless specified at the time of purchase. Delivery timescales shown during checkout are for items currently held in stock at Stylish Designs Limited. Some items (including imported products), pre-orders and furniture have longer delivery lead times, if this is the case the product description will alert you to this additional estimated delivery period.
Delivery occurs when the items are delivered to the delivery address you specified when placing your order. At this point, responsibility for loss, breakage and damage passes to you.
Claims for non-delivery or missing items should be made within 7 working days of expected delivery.
If you are not available to sign for the parcel, our courier will try on another 2 occasions after which it will be returned to us. There will be a charge payable for all returned items if this should happen, please contact us for more information.
We have to allow 15 working days (mon-sat) before our couriers will classify an order as missing. If an item has been recorded as missing Stylish Life reserves the right to:
Send a replacement
Wait for a response from the courier before deciding on a course of action (under new Royal Mail Guidelines we have to wait for a returned P91 Lost Order Form which Royal Mail need to accept before arranging any replacements or refunds).
Ceramics, glass, furniture & porcelain items are fragile in nature & are NOT recommended for international delivery.
If an item is not currently available or not in stock, we will place it on back order for you. Please place your order using the telephone if you require your payment to be deferred (up to 30 days max) as your card will be automatically charged on all orders placed using our website.
If the goods we deliver are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us in writing at our contact address or by email of the problem within 7 working days, beginning the day after the day on which the items are delivered. If you do not receive goods ordered by you within 30 days of the date on which you ordered them, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us in writing at our contact address of the problem within 40 days of the date on which you ordered the goods. If you notify a problem to us under this condition, our only obligation will be, at your option:
to make good any shortage or non-delivery;
to replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective; or
to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question in whatever way we choose.
Save as precluded by law, we will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses (including loss of profits, business or goodwill) howsoever arising out of any problem you notify to us under this condition and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question under clause** above. You must observe and comply with all applicable regulations and legislation, including obtaining all necessary customs, import or other permits to purchase goods from our site. The importation or exportation of certain of our goods to you may be prohibited by certain national laws. We can accept no liability in respect of the export or import of the goods you purchase. Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer under applicable local law or other statutory rights that may not be excluded nor in any way to exclude or limit our liability to you for any death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.
Unless otherwise expressly stated in these terms and conditions, all notices from you to us must be in writing and sent to our contact address at (Stylish Designs Limited, Gardeners Cottages, Reynolds Way, Coleorton, Leics, LE67 8HY ) and all notices from us to you will be displayed on our website from to time.
Our Guarantee To You
We endeavour to display through this website all items in our current range. We aim to hold stock of all styles and sizes whilst a product is active. However, occasionally an item will be out of stock and if this is the case this will be highlighted in your shopping basket. The stock status for your order will also be notified to you on your order confirmation. All dates quoted for delivery are estimated delivery dates only and may be subject to change and we can accept no liability for any loss or damage (whether direct or indirect) for delivery at any time other than the estimated date for delivery.
Conformity Of Goods
We take every care to ensure that the description and specification of our products are correct at the time of going to press. However, while the colour reproduction of the products is a close representation, we cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the browser software or computer system used by you.
Events beyond our control
We shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, strikes, lock-outs and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion or accident.
If any part of these terms and conditions is unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you) the enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected.
Third party rights
Except for our affiliates, directors, employees or representatives, a person who is not a party to this fagreement has no right under the UK Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of this agreement but this does not affect any right or remedy of a third party that exists or is available apart from that Act.
We are a VAT registered business (No: 246055906), VAT is currently included in the total of relevant products in our catalogue. The price you see next to any item is the price you will pay at checkout (excluding postage costs). Countries not in the EU will pay the total excluding VAT (calculated at checkout).
The contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with British law and the British courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us.
Gift Vouchers & Discount Codes
Gift vouchers & discount codes are NOT to be used in conjunction with any other promotions. A voucher or discount code can only be used once per person/account and is limited to only one voucher per household.
You will normally receive your gift voucher/discount code after you have registered a new account and purchased an item, it will be included in your sales receipt.
stylishlife.co.uk gift vouchers are restricted to one gift voucher claim code per transaction on the www.stylishlife.co.uk website. To qualify, enter the gift voucher code during the checkout process before completing your purchase online. You may spend the amount identified in the gift voucher in one transaction.
A gift voucher claim code is only valid for a limited time and in any event the transaction must be made before the specified expiry date for each gift voucher promotion. No late submissions will be accepted. Such a decision will be final and no further correspondence will be entered into by stylishlife.co.uk
Gift voucher claim codes contained in gift voucher certificates and/or gift voucher emails have a cash redemption value of 0.001p and are non-transferable.
In the event of a gift voucher being claimed on a transaction that is subsequently cancelled, stylishlife.co.uk will be entitled to reclaim the gift voucher claim code and rely on the application of the normal stylishlife.co.uk returns and refunds procedure. The gift voucher claim code shall be deemed null and void in such circumstances.
In the event of a gift voucher certificate being lost or a gift voucher email being deleted, stylishlife.co.uk will not be required to replace the gift voucher certificate or gift voucher email under any circumstances.
A gift voucher cannot be claimed on transactions that have already been processed by stylishlife.co.uk.

Gift vouchers will only be paid in GBP Sterling, and cannot therefore be redeemed against any product or service purchased from the stylishlife.co.uk website outside of the United Kingdom.
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment. The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge.
The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK.
* Much of the UK's WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health. * Many electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled. Recycling items helps to save our natural finite resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill.
Distributors of new Electric and Electronic Equipment (EEE) have a part to play in reducing the amount of WEEE going into landfill sites.
Stylish Designs Limited is obliged under these regulations to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product from us.
For example, if a customer bought a new toaster from us we would accept their old toaster and prevent it going into a landfill site by disposing of it safely.
Customers must return their WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item.
Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol shown below:
Goods are marked with this symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.
